You will work closely with manufacturing and sales professionals to ensure that GE's products and services continually meet customer demands. The EEDP provides an exciting entry path to leadership positions in the many GE businesses that demand technical excellence. Successful programme members have a passion to create leading-edge products and services.

The Edison Engineering Development Programme (EEDP) is for people with a passion for technology, a drive for technical excellence, business skills and GE values. Intense technical training and a variety of business-critical assignments build key technical and leadership competencies accelerating levels of innovation in every new wave of engineers.

Programme Summary
  • A 24- to 30-month programme of four-five rotational assignments
  • Assignments are technical projects driven by GE business priorities, with defined goals and regular reviews
  • Diverse experience may encompass:
    Global Process and Material Design and Development, Manufacturing, Marketing and Product Management
  • Technical problem-solving skills developed via advance engineering coursework, formal reports and presentations to senior leadership
  • Business skills developed in corporate leadership courses


Application Process
The recruitment process generally starts in April and finishes in November. We accept applications to the Edison Engineering Development Program throughout the year, however your application may not be reviewed until this timeframe.

Requirements

Candidate Criteria
  • Passion for and commitment to engineering and technology
  • Superior academic achievement
  • Commitment to technology and quality
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Relevant internships and/or degrees in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical and Biomedical Engineering preferred
  • Fluent English
  • European Work permit/Work authorization
  • Geographically mobile within Europe
