“The recruitment process at British American Tobacco was outstanding.  I was invited to spend three days working on a project at a factory in Poland with my future co-workers.  It gave me an opportunity to become familiar with the workplace for real, not just as it is described in a leaflet.

“I started work in Marketing Finance, as this department allowed me to develop my functional skills, to learn about the industry and to improve my relationship and leadership skills.  I was given the opportunity to work on several projects in cross-functional teams, and to prepare financial analysis for the Marketing department and the Management Board.  This gave me a broad view of the business.  My long term goal is to focus on strategic management and I now work with the business development team in London.
