The company has the broadest diabetes product portfolio in the industry, including the most advanced products within the area of insulin delivery systems. In addition, Novo Nordisk has a leading position within areas such as haemostasis management, growth hormone therapy and hormone replacement therapy. Novo Nordisk manufactures and markets pharmaceutical products and services that make a significant difference to patients, the medical profession and society. With headquarters in Denmark, Novo Nordisk employs approximately 26,600 full-time employees in 80 countries, and markets its products in 179 countries. What we offerA job with us is never simply a job. We want to be there when our customers need us – and we aim to attract and retain the best employees by making Novo Nordisk a challenging place to work. In addition to working in a job that makes a difference to our patients, you can also be sure that we are working to ensure that you can maintain a natural balance between work and leisure time. A balance that ensures you have a full life packed with enjoyment and fulfilment both at work and at home. You should always have sufficient time for family, friends and the work we give you. Novo Nordisk considers it important to make sure its employees stay fit and healthy. That is why we have initiated a project we call NovoSund. NovoSund looks at how you as an employee can adopt or maintain a healthy lifestyle while working for Novo Nordisk. For those who would like to use them, we have leisure centres in our Bagsværd and Kalundborg departments. These centres have facilities for badminton, aerobics, and much more – at a low cost. The centres are staffed by instructors who can help you set up a programme that is perfect for you. The low cost of using the centres can only be kept so low because Novo Nordisk grants them an appreciable subsidy every year. As more and more people are finding that the boundaries between work and leisure are increasingly dissolving, we have introduced flexitime arrangements in many places, including the opportunity to work from home via an ADSL connection – which we pay for. Flexitime gives you greater influence on when you would like to work during the day – this is something of an advantage, especially if you have children.Who we look forWe invest a lot in our graduates – and we expect a lot in return. We can promise an exciting two years of intense learning and great opportunities. And some graduates end up working in areas they wouldn’t even have predicted at the start of the programme. To make the most of the opportunities we offer, you’ll need to be curious, adventuresome and open to change. If this sounds like you – and you are also a motivated, results-oriented team player who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment – you just might be the person we’re looking for! To apply to our programmes, you need to be a recent graduate (Master’s degree or equivalent) with a strong record of outstanding academic and personal achievement. |
